Tesla's refreshed Model 3, known as Project Highland, is expected to go into production soon and may be more affordable than the current model, according to leaked information.
The new Model 3 will feature attractive exterior styling, including new headlights, and production ramp-up is set to begin on August 25th at Tesla's Giga Shanghai factory.
Despite cost reductions in manufacturing, the prices for the new Model 3 will remain the same as the current model initially, but potential buyers in California can benefit from additional tax credits that could bring the base price down to $25,000.
