Before we talk about the 2023 Triumph Scrambler 900, let’s revisit the history of the Triumph Scrambler range. Triumph introduced the Scrambler as the off-road counterpart to its Bonneville range of motorcycles – built to take on slightly rougher tarmac, so to speak. Back in 2006, the Triumph Scrambler was an air/oil-cooled, carburetor-fed 865 cc machine, although the 2008 Triumph Scrambler 900 moved to fuel injection. In 2017, Triumph launched the Street Scrambler with a 900cc engine, which it renamed as the Scrambler 900 for 2023. There’s also a Triumph Scrambler 1200, but that’s another model for another day.
