Love ‘em or hate ’em, electric vehicles are here to stay. The world is on the fast track towards electric mobility, and over the past decade, we have seen some awesome EVs, but most of them have been expensive and out of reach to the masses. Luxury carmakers have been responsible for most of the market share, but with more affordable EVs now entering the market, there are finally more options for everyone. A case in point is Hyundai and its newly created subbrand known as Ioniq. Hyundai will plan to launch many EVs under this brand, but the first to hit the market was the 2022 Hyundai Ioniq 5.
